2.2 Million Bucks!

The Games Done Quick crew did it again.  They broke their charity record and brought in 2.2 million dollars by playing video games for a solid week.  The money goes to the Prevent Cancer Foundation.

Watching the donation tracker near the end was amazing.  People were donating fifty to one hundred dollars at a time by the thousands.  The final day alone brought in over half of that 2.2 million.

I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again.  A bunch of nerds playing video games brought in over two million dollars for charity.

The next one will be in Minnesota again this summer.
